Stumbled upon the "Cambridge International University" - it seems they offer online examinations for various technology related areas, Java, .Net, SQL, etc. Here's the thing though: it's free and every passed examination leads to certification. Something to pad the resume with if you're looking to break into the technology sector. Sadly, no C or C++.

If you check on the website, there is a list of the graduates of the so-called international university. Surprise, surprise: mostly Indians. Ever wonder why most Bell South call centres are in India?
