Carney narrowly escapes jail

Roosters star Todd Carney looked sheepish as he left court with a six month suspended sentence after his third drink-driving incident.

HOURS after being told he was on the brink of a jail term Todd Carney last night had his driver's licence reinstated after a magistrate admitted she could not impose a custodial sentence for a low-range drink driving offence.

Magistrate Jacqueline Milledge gave the Sydney Roosters five-eighth a six-month suspended sentence and disqualified him from driving for 10 months at Waverley Local Court yesterday morning. However, in a bizarre twist that order was later downgraded to a 24-month good behaviour bond when Milledge was told there was no provision available in legislation for a person to be incarcerated for low-range driving driving. As part of the amendment Carney's licence was returned to him when Milledge, impressed by his attitude, took into account his commitment to rehabilitation and a $10,000 fine and five-point plan already imposed by the Roosters.

Milledge had earlier warned Carney's lawyer, Stephen Alexander, as they entered the court. ''He's looking at a custodial sentence.''

After deciding on a suspended term, which was amended five hours later, she said: ''I look at your driving record and it says to me you need to be taught a lesson,'' she said. ''If you come back to me on any driving matter … your feet won't hit the floor and you'll be out that door. You can't put a foot wrong.''

Carney had claimed in court documents that he had consumed eight to 10 Hahn SuperDry beers between 7pm and 10.30pm on the evening of February 25 and eaten pizza with friends.

The 24-year-old playmaker, a P-plater with a string of previous driving offences including two other drink-driving convictions, then recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.052 while driving from his Coogee apartment to the Sydney Football Stadium for a 7.30am meeting the next day. Despite his record Milledge was impressed by Carney's acknowledgement that he was an alcoholic. She was sympathetic with the public focus on his life - ''God help you having to deal with this with everyone watching'' - as well as his tragic family history. His father, Daryl, died in 2008 having earlier been diagnosed with dementia.

The emotional testimony of Carney's mother, Leanne, who sat in the front row of the court gallery, and a handwritten note from Carney to Milledge were also crucial in convincing the magistrate he could overcome his demons. The Herald obtained the reference from his mother, Leanne, which said: ''Todd phoned me at 7.45am the morning he was charged with low-range drink-driving. I could not believe what he was telling me. I was so upset, angry and disappointed for him and also myself. The past 12 months Todd has turned his life around dramatically. He had a great year of football and has settled into his new home.

''He had not had a drink through the whole of the football season. This has been a setback because it relieves (sic) all the bad things that have happened in the past and all Todd wanted is for everyone to forget the old Todd and only focus on the good things he was trying to achieve.

''I have faith in Todd that he can overcome this setback and rebuild his life to where he was 12 months ago. Todd knows how disappointed I am. As the only living parent I had to take it upon myself to give him a real dressing down for not taking the time to think about the things he does and the consequences for some of his actions. Todd is a good son and a caring brother to his sisters and niece. Todd is always on hand to sign an autograph or just say hello to fans. Todd will always assist with a charity or fundraiser when needed.''

Carney, the Dally M player of 2010, entered the court at 10.42am, with Milledge reprimanding Alexander for arriving later than the appointed 9.30am timeslot for his client's sentencing.

However, much like the NRL and the Roosters themselves, who have stuck by Carney, Milledge was persuaded by his determination to combat his alcohol problem.

''Your approach to this matter today impresses me,'' she told Carney. ''Your story is a story that needs to be told if you can get your act together. You have been given a great gift. I gather you are someone that generates a lot of enthusiasm.''

But she added: ''Your mum is lucky she is here with you in court and not sitting in the front pew of a church listening to a eulogy.''

Carney keeps his licence but aside from the good behaviour bond must comply with any orders under probation and parole and complete a positive lifestyle program he has begun with the Salvation Army. He is also undergoing counselling with the Roosters, attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and completing a traffic offenders course, factors that helped him in court.

Carney had provided the court with a handwritten pledge to reform. It read: ''My name is Todd Daryl Carney. I acknowledge the fact that I have a serious problem with alcohol.''

He told the court that ''the hardest thing for me was to admit I had a drink problem''.

Anthony Watts to be sacked, Todd Carney on brink

RUGBY league's most troubled club, the Sydney Roosters, will sack Anthony Watts and then consider axing Todd Carney after allegations of another ugly off-field incident.

The NRL's image took a further battering yesterday when Anthony Watts, 24, was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm after police allege he punched ex-girlfriend, Shannon Kiss, repeatedly in the back of her head.

The incident came after Watts and Todd Carney were out at the Coogee Palace and then The Trademark Lounge Hotel - John Ibrahim's nightspot in Bayswater Road, Kings Cross. Onlookers claim the pair left the Coogee Palace at 11pm and The Trademark at 4am.

Sydney Roosters officials were last night refusing to speculate on whether Carney was drinking alcohol but The Daily Telegraph understands the star player was consuming vodka and soda. "He was definitely on the drink in front of everyone," one onlooker said.

The pair were joined for a few drinks at The Trademark by boxer Garth Wood.

Given he is attending Alcoholics Anonymous and missed Saturday night's 24-6 loss to Brisbane in Gosford because of an injury, Carney may now have his lucrative contract ripped up.

It is understood Carney and Watts live together in Coogee. The Roosters will have no choice but to sack Watts.

Any action from the Roosters may have to wait until powerful club chairman Nick Politis returns from a trip to Greece on Friday.

Carney, who returned a blood alcohol level of 0.052 as a P-plater on February 26, asked Roosters management for the weekend off so he could visit his mother, Leanne, in Goulburn. The drama will hinder Carney's chances of playing for NSW this year.

Roosters chief executive Steve Noyce will present the NRL with a detailed report of the incident today after a crisis meeting at the club's SFS headquarters.

An AVO was yesterday served against Watts, who will front Waverley Local Court on Thursday.

This is the latest drama for a club in crisis.

After reaching last year's grand final, the Roosters have won just two of six games this year and face premiers St George Illawarra next Monday at the SFS.

"We have to get all the facts. One matter is before the courts," Roosters chief executive Steve Noyce said. "I will find out all the information from both players before we act."

Asked whether Carney was drinking, Noyce said: "I don't know."

Friends say Watts and Kiss separated recently. Watts, who was sacked from Cronulla, was said to be angry at the break-up.

It has also been suggested that Watts suffers from depression and has previously been admitted to a rehabilitation centre.

Sources claim Carney and Watts became separated on the night from a Roosters minder. There were also suggestions the pair were out with sprint trainer Roger Fabri, who recently worked with Willie Mason."I have spoken to Steve Noyce and we are awaiting a report from the Roosters," NRL chief executive David Gallop said. "Clearly this is a serious issue that the police are looking into."

The Roosters issued a press statement yesterday which read in part: "Steve Noyce said that the seriousness of the charge underlined the need to ensure that all the facts were established before any judgment was made by the club.

"The club is aware Anthony had been out with fellow Sydney Roosters teammate Todd Carney and will conduct a thorough investigation and provide a report to the NRL within the next 48 hours."

I have never been able to understand why people are interested in watching (much less paying money to watch) these retarded Neanderthals run about a paddock during a pointless contest over a ball.
So one thugby player is a drunk and another has bashed a woman. Nothing surprising there.
At least this time we were not subjected to an intellectually-insulting fantasy about how the woman who was attacked thrust her own face into a glass by accident. There are lower forms of scum than Greg Bird, but not many.

Yes, most of the football games that are played in Australia are retarded. Most of the stupid jocks go on a join the army or the police force. Low intelligence compensated with muscles. Bitches love bad boys.

I like soccer.............you know..............the game that involves kicking a ROUND ball around and where you DON'T touch the other players. I think you must be gay to want to tackle other men. RUGBY LEAGUE IS GAY.

Whatever we think of the game they are involved with, and it has never been the best game on the planet, a lot of the public follow it, and for that reason the personal lives of the players are important.

I posted this story about Todd Carney here because it is about a young White man who is having difficulty with alcohol. It has caused problems with his career and it has gotten him in trouble with the law.

I don't think it helps if we just call him "a drunk" and write him off forever. He did appear willing to work this out when he was recently in court, and now he has had a setback, but I hope that isn't the end of the story.

Wingnut,

Why don't you just crawl back under that rock you came from?

Sensei,

I played rugby league for the best part of thirty seasons and it is an excellent way to keep fit. Those who have never played the game aren't in a position to criticise it. However, I will say that Carney is a fuckwit of the highest order. To be given that many chances while fucking up all the time says a lot about him. Maybe one fuck up you could somehow understand but not as many as this idiot has made. He should face it that without footy he would be a brickie's labourer and he has it a lot easier than 99.9% of the population.

UPDATED 7:30PM: Todd Carney and Anthony Watts have been suspended from football effective immediately.

UPDATE 7:30PM: Roosters boss Steve Noyce made the suspension announcement today, confirming that the pair would be stood down indefinitely after breaking the NRL club's rules regarding the consumption of alcohol.

The Roosters gave no indication as to how long either player would be stood down for, with Watts' future to be determined when he fronts the Roosters board to answer a breach notice.

The club will be guided by medical professionals in determining the course of action in Carney's rehabilitation, with the Dally M medal winner having struggled to deal with his alcohol-related issues over the past few months.

"Todd Carney hasn't been accused of anything unlawful, he has however broken club rules and failed the goals he set himself,'' Roosters chief executive Steve Noyce said.

"In regards to Todd, the club's next step will be subject to professional and medial advice that we are in the process of obtaining.''

Speaking at a press conference this evening NRL CEO David Gallop said Carney was a "unique case."

"He's very much a troubled person at the moment and that makes me sad to hear.

"He gave undertakings to the world.

"He's a guy that needs help and the first person that needs to start that help is him.

"But we'd all like to help him get his life back on track."

In a press release sent out this evening, Gallop said:

“This is sadly a matter of a troubled soul needing expert help. Calls for him to be put in jail even for a week show a complete lack of compassion for his plight.

“The reports we have received on his progress to date underline the fact that everyone has been making an effort but the level of professional help needs to be lifted and that has been demonstrated today.

“You also can’t solve them by just thinking ‘footy’ will fix it.

“Clearly some time out of football is appropriate and we support the Roosters on that. It is also a case of being guided by medical experts as to how long that may need to be."

Noyce was adamant that the cases regarding the two players were being treated as separate issues after the pair went on a long drinking session lasting until 4am on Sunday morning.

Watts was later charged with assaulting his ex-girlfriend Shannon Kiss and will appear in court on Thursday, with the club to issue him with a breach notice on Wednesday.

"The club has worked closely with Anthony in the past to address a number of issues including anti-social behaviour and this decision stands regardless of what the court decides,'' Noyce said.

"The Sydney Roosters maintain strict policies in behaviour.''

Earlier, Carney received support from an unlikely ally in Sydney businessman John Ibrahim.

The Kings Cross nightclub boss – and fanatical Roosters supporter – Ibrahim (@johnibrahimsyd) has leant his support to the embattled footy star, who is facing suspension from the club.

Ibrahim, who is a regular at matches and team events for the Eastern Suburbs team, has had a Twitter account since 2010, but had only posted four messages prior to today.

SEE BELOW FOR A TIMELINE OF TODD CARNEY'S HIGHS AND LOWS

In a message posted this afternoon, Ibrahim says: “Don’t give up on Carney, he needs help, he has the potential to be one of the great players of our time.”

In another two minutes later, he says “Carney needs the support and guidance that only the NRL and the Roosters can give to really get his life sorted.”

Carney is widely expected to be suspended from the club, having been caught out drinking despite telling Roosters management he was sober.

Among the Twitter accounts Ibrahim follows are the NRL, Sydney Roosters, his good friend Kyle Sandilands, and the sites for venues associated with him the Piano Room and Ladylux.

Ibrahim also follows The Daily Telegraph’s Sydney Confidential.

His lawyer and spokesman Stephen Alexander confirmed Ibrahim was the author of the messages.

The nightclub boss’s first ever Tweet was sent in May last year, wishing his girlfriend Chelsea Mitchell a happy birthday.

Earlier in the day, Noyce called a meaningless press conference at 9.30am and said he would submit a report to NRL chief executive David Gallop by the afternoon.

He said couldn't reveal any punishment for the players until he had spoken at length to club chairman Nick Politis who is in Greece.

That all changed just after 5.20pm, when Noyce again fronted the media to announce the pair's suspension.

Carney and Watts have admitted to drinking last Saturday evening against a club policy which bans the consumption of alcohol while injured.

Both players had also undertaken a commitment to the club to remain sober for the entire 2011 season.

Watts was charged with assaulting his girlfriend in the early hours of Sunday morning after the drinking session with Carney at three Sydney establishments, including one aligned to Ibrahim.

Earlier in the day, Noyce defended the decision not to make a hasty judgment on the future of the players.

"Is it better to do it quick or better to get the right decision,'' said Noyce.

"If that takes 48 hours that is what it takes.''

Noyce said he has finished his own report into Watts’ and Carney’s bender on Saturday night which ended with Carney again in the headlines for drinking and Watts arrested and charged with domestic assault.

Carney’s fate may rest in the hands of his senior teammates after Noyce said he had consulted players in the club’s leadership group, including Braith Anasta, Anthony Minichiello and Jason Ryles.

“I think what’s happened is they’ve broken that trust among footballers,” Noyce said of Carney and Watts.

“Todd’s obviously disappointed with what’s happened.”

Noyce stated firmly the club does not have a drinking culture problem.

“I said earlier yesterday we were concerned. When you’re on the front pages of papers, leading stories on news, not for scoring tries or winning games. I don’t think I’m doing my job, doing my duty of care to these young players if I’m not concerned by these issues.”

Noyce confirmed he met with Watts and Carney yesterday, and there was no sign of the pair at training this morning.

Noyce said he had spoken to staff at the three hotels the players visited in the course of the night and was happy to report the pair did not cause any public disturbance.

While I understand your position, I cannot agree with it.

There are people who for genetic reasons should never touch alcohol. The ones who are of strong character do not drink and are sober. Carney is a drunk, which shows that he is of weak character and little intelligence.

To me, he is a mentally defective drunk whose knuckles leave drag marks as he runs on and off the field. Any time/effort put into trying to rescue this person is time/effort wasted.

Drunks only become sober if or when they make that decision and that does not happen unless or until they grow a backbone, which is a question of character.

Cheerleaders are American.

Yes, I was called a "freak" and a "weirdo" at school. I was the guy who spent most of his time at the library avoiding all human contact. I have a general hatred for socialising. Trying to get me to socialise or to make mates is like trying to get teeth from a hen.

I never joined the nationalist movement for mates or protection. The guys up in Toowoomba and Crows Nest asked me and a few others to come up and meet them. I, acting on orders, turned down that offer. Likewise, acting on orders, I did not attend any Blood and Honour events. I was never in the movement for socialising. It was simply for work. I am a man of work not of socialising. The guys up in Crows Nest and Toowoomba failed to understand that for some reason. I would rather spend my time reading and and mucking around on the computer than hanging out with people.

I don't need protection. The Warwick locals are subhuman so they don't scare me.

They way I see it, it is about forming alliances not friendships.

Actually, there a one hell of a lot of skill in real boxing.

As a karate-ka I have respect for all martial artists, which includes boxers.

If you want to have an exhibition bout with Trouble when he is in the area please let me know. I will be happy to arrange a venue. I have not asked DT, but I am sure that he would be happy to arrange the audience.

Not sure I could bear to watch, though. I think that you are a troubled young man who will eventually sort himself out, given some support and encouragement. Others just want to sort you out and I do not mean in a nice way. :lulz:

I know that I know more about politics and history than my superiors and when I try and explain what really needs to be done, I get tried like I'm an arrogant bastard. I have told them that it was worth it to co-operate and make links with Australia First, Blood and Honour and the guys up in Toowoomba but no I was ignored. I tried explaining it to Defend This that he and others should make contact with my superiors but no he didn't want to talk to them. Because of all of that, the experiment of trying to link the nationalists and skinheads in the Warwick-Aratula-Boonah with Australia First and Blood and Honour failed. I tried my best and failed. They told me that they didn't want to continue with any further dealings with AFP and B&H and instructed me to resign. I could have told them to get fucked but I didn't. I did as I was told to.

Please explain.

Where I live, we kind of have an informal group. There are those who make the decisions and policies and there are those who implement the decisions and policies. We have a our leader. The leader does nothing himself in public but makes decisions and gives order behind close doors in private. Defend This has heard of him. Men from the Blood and Honour have met him personally at last years middle ages thing. He is the my Fuhrer and superior.

:lulz:I have to disagree with you on this Herr Derrick. You think he can sort himself out..not fucking likely. His arrogance and stupidity will never change. He has been on SF a few times as well as ANN and we have both seen how he is. His arrogant attitude to all Aussies shows he is nothing but an egomanic delusional little commie scumbag who needs a good kicking. I would be quite happy to see"Trouble" teach him a boxing lesson and would fly to where ever this match was held. Hell I`d even buy Trouble a beer or 2 for his efforts in teaching the little shit a lesson.

Whats the point of internet forums and whatnot , if not to meet people to be active with in the "Real" world ?

And if your plan is to form alliances over the net , well , you're going about it the wrong way . Insulting people will get you nowhere .

I'm not trying to be a prick , but you are wasting your time forming internet alliances if thats all they're going to be , on the internet .

Some or all of this may be true.

Still too early to judge.

While he was being paid thousands of dollars a week for his football why was there a need for him to make any change? If the football career stops paying there might be hope of improvement.

He wouldn't be the first person to run in to trouble with the drink and then come good. Maybe we haven't seen his character yet.

The inside word on Carney's big night

Todd Carney ... fell off the wagon. Photo: Quentin Jones

THERE have been plenty of people pushing the line that Todd Carney was out drinking with John Ibrahim during his much-publicised night out last weekend but here are the facts. Carney spent most of his time at the Trademark Hotel talking with bouncers when he was trying to get in with his mates.

A phone call was made to Ibrahim by security and the King of the Cross's instruction was clear - get him off the street and into a cab as quickly as possible. Carney was at the venue for all of 15 minutes - Ibrahim was already home after leaving about 1.30am. Carney and his mates were in the venue for that amount of time because that's how long it took to organise transport spacious enough to get them all home.

Take it as fact Ibrahim would never have a drink with Carney, as he knows he's an alcoholic and would not feel comfortable in that situation. Footage of Carney's time at the hotel will show security making a call while he is out the front. And it will show that at no time was Ibrahim in his presence. This footage has been seen by plenty of people with no connection to Ibrahim.

Carney's battle with alcohol and mental issues is being treated as an injury by the Roosters with team doctor John Orchard the man who will decide when he is fit to play. Orchard has sought specialists to assess Carney's wellbeing and he is visiting Carney daily. It's anticipated that Carney will be out of the Roosters line-up for at least a month - but there is a school of thought he needs to be playing and that might mean playing with the club's feeder team, Newtown.

Hours before Brian Smith went to Carney's Coogee home to tell him he was being stood down, the troubled five-eighth was telling mates he needed to get out on the field and play. The public demolition of his career was on the cards, according to those who know him best - his teammates and his manager, David Riolo. But there was nothing they could do to prevent it.

What is not really known is the Roosters have given sprint coach Roger Fabri the unofficial role of being Carney's minder. On Saturday night the pair went out for dinner and Fabri dropped Carney home around 11.30pm, thinking he was going to stay there. There are two versions of what happened next - either Anthony Watts came knocking or Carney texted Watts, suggesting they go out.

So why did Carney go out in a very public way in a very public place? Roosters insiders have told me Carney was fearful for his position in the team in the days after the loss to the Warriors. He was snappy all week and told off the team doctor in the lead-up to the clash with the Broncos.

Carney told those close to him that he was not in shape to play the Warriors the previous week and was down about his display. Carney has plenty of ground to make up with his teammates. Their major gripe is not his drinking, nor do they have any issues with his form. It's that he was not honest with them about his drinking. They say he is too concerned with himself and not enough with the team.

However, they need to understand what he is going through (and this will bring in the usual ratbag emails) - he is a young bloke with a major problem that is part of his make-up. Yes, he stayed off the drink all last season - an amazing achievement - and that he managed to be the best player in the game is stunning. Roosters officials are willing him to succeed.

They also know if they cut him they will bankrupt him as no one else will take a chance with him. I've had several discussions with Carney and he knows his life, not just his career, depends on what comes next. There have been foolish calls for him to be sacked, but there are those who understand what he is going through.

Nine News anchor Peter Overton, a patron of the Mental Health Council of Australia, says Carney ''has serious problems with alcohol and perhaps with his mental health as well. He is not alone … The most important thing is for Todd to get the help and treatment he needs. You don't throw a young person needing help on the scrap heap. You assist them in getting better and support them as they return to their workplace.''

Why does the greasy arab leb Ibrahim have standards about drinking with alcoholics when those supposedly honourable White men who meet you do not?

High time Todd Carney took control of his future

Mal Meninga From: The Sunday Mail (Qld) April 24, 2011 12:00AM 1 comment

Todd Carney's future is in the balance. Source: The Daily Telegraph

THE Roosters and the NRL got it right with their handling of the Todd Carney affair last week, but now the only person who can decide whether he has a future in rugby league is Carney himself.

Todd is on his last chance now. He is at a crossroad of his life, not just his career.

I think the game has quite rightly shown a lot of patience and support to help him deal with his illness, but now it is up to him to show that he is willing to do what is needed to make something of his life and the chances he has been given.

It was pleasing that the Roosters and the league didn't have an immediate knee-jerk reaction to the situation, and decided to take some time to work out what the best solution might be.

Having said that, you can't just rely on the game to be that support mechanism.

Now is when Todd needs to be helped by his closest support group his family, his friends and his manager to get him back on the rails.

The player still needs to be accountable and responsible for what he does or says.

Todd didn't break any laws, but he broke a promise to himself and his teammates. If he was genuine in that promise, then that is probably the worst one to break.

There is a lot riding on what happens next with Carney. We're talking about his entire future here. The direction he decides to go in next will dictate whether he leaves the game as a reasonably wealthy young man, or whether he leaves with nothing but a battered reputation and a bucketload of wasted ability.

From the general public's point of view, I think there is an emotional investment in what happens with Carney. But the public would also be conscious of there being a time when enough is enough.

Our game relies on image in what the players do on the field every week, and the way they conduct themselves off the field as well.

In the end, the game itself is the one that has to say enough is enough.

It is unrealistic to expect a club to effectively punish a player for bad behaviour, because ultimately whatever sentence they bring down punishes the club at the same time.

Their punishment is going to be influenced by the ability of the player. A club is going to find it very tough to sack their best players.

The NRL needs to get the people who bring the game into disrepute out of the game. It's not zero tolerance because every case needs to be judged on its own merits. But the NRL must start making decisions about the future of players who misbehave with the game's interests at heart, not the player's.

If the game would be better off expelling them from the game, then that is what they should do.

But just as the game has an obligation to the likes of Carney, so too does every player in the competition have an obligation to look after the health and reputation of the code.

The players need to realise what a responsibility they are carrying for the game. When they misbehave, the game is devalued in the eyes of sponsors, fans, the general public and the kids.

With the boom in social media in the past few years, that fact is even more sharply in focus.

A throwaway comment to a friend on Facebook or Twitter may be meant as a meaningless joke between mates, but it is extremely naive to think that those comments will just be ignored by the wider community and the media. It then becomes an issue that damages the reputation of the code.

Social media is here. There is no point in trying to ban players from using it, or in players being naive or ignorant about its reach. The same goes for mobile phones and cameras. These are just the circumstances of the modern age that modern players have to deal with.

A player getting into a drunken fight at a pub can't complain when someone takes a photo and sends it to a newspaper.

People love reading about celebrity gossip and, in Australia, league players are celebrities. That is why the smallest incident can quickly get out of control. If you do something stupid, people are going to find out about it. It comes with the territory of being in the public eye.

You either adapt or you perish. You have to be aware it's there. In a public life, nothing is sacred.

To be fair to Big Mal, he does seem to be a decent sort of fellow who to the best of my knowledge has never done the wrong thing.
Mal was a serving policeman at the time and was shattered when he found out what his brother had done.
Bevan, however, is another matter. What Bevan did was of course not Mal's fault, but they are fruit of the same tree so to be treated with due caution.

For a mud Mal is pretty well behaved . I've been in pubs in Brisbane and Mal has been there , he never once acted like the typical abo . Even when he noticed about 15 skinheads at the bar , most coons would blow their top . But who knows , its a public place and he has to behave , if he want's to keep his job . Given a private setting and enough alcohol , he would more than likely , act like the coon he is and start shit .

The Fuhrer is not an inbred wanker nor is he a piece of shit. He is a good bloke. You guys just got the wrong impression of him. He is a real National Socialist and a true skinhead. I've been trying to fix things between the guys up in Toowoomba and Crows Nest and us in Warwick and the Fassifern Valley. Respect is what I want between us all. Co-operation, respect and probably even cormadeship. The nationalists and skinheads in my part of the world are now united and working together. You know who helped create that. The Fuhrer. I too have helped him. The Fuhrer wants co-operation, respect and comradeship between us and the guys up north. That is why I'm trying to meet with them tomorrow.

Thats the problem with most young blokes in the movement these days , they think because they have 1000 posts on some forum , that they're to be respected .

We have been doing a lot for the movement in the last three years. Australia First is now well known in the Warwick-Fassifern Valley. We got 52 votes here at the last election. What we need to do is to build on that. We will continue to co-operate with Australia First. That is one of the things that I want to discuss with the guys up north tomorrow.

When I started out , if you tried to place yourself above old boys with a history of being active in the real world , you'd cop a right hook in the mouth . I have total respect for the old guard. Respect is what we all want. The Fuhrer and us don't want to fight with anyone. We have spoken to each other about it and he has given me permission to travel to Toowoomba and discuss with the guys about the stuff. I will up up there tomorrow for the May Day Parade.

The Fuhrer is respected by the skins and others. Under him, all the different groups were united and are now a very powerful force.

In the last three years since unification, the movement in the area has grown to a point where we are now considered a serious alternative to the mainstream. That is why I have total and abosolute loyalty and respect for the Fuhrer. With out him, unfication would never have happened and we would still be split fighting with each other. I don't understand why you guys are so hostile to him. When I was attending the state conference of the Australia First Party, he called me and wanted me to put in a good word in for him with you guys.

He has total respect for Blood and Honour and for all the other skinhead groups in Australia.

Blood and Honour, Hammer Skins, Australia First would benfit if they respected him and did business with the man. The Fuhrer has no interest in making wars nor in provoking any one.

We are all National Socialists and proud skinheads. We should not be fighting each other and that is not what we want.

Most people don't want to be known. If I had a choice and could change what I have done, I wouldn't be known as well. I would never have published my real name on the internet. But I was 14 when I did. As a 19 year old, I regret doing so.

This twat calls all the men he would like as his boyfriend "The Fuhrer".

No, I call my girlfriend who leads me around naked by my cock "Mein Fuhrer". I usual just wear my leather coat and nothing else. She loves grabbing my cock and leading me around the house when we're alone.

My mate is the Fuhrer but not in the way my girlfriend is.

ROOSTERS star Todd Carney has been banned from driving for 12 months and convicted of drink driving after police appealed an earlier decision arguing it was too lenient.

Tod Carney, who today gave evidence to the Sydney District Court, admitted his driving record was "disappointing" and he was "remorseful" for his actions.

But Judge Ron Solomon said Carney's driving record was "abysmal" and said he should be convicted and not get behind the wheel for a year.

"(Carney) has in the past been dealt with by the courts in respect of two mid-range (drinking) offences," he said.

"It appears there has been continuing disobedience by the offender in respect of his driving."

Last month, Magistrate Jacqueline Milledge gave the Sydney Roosters five-eighth a six-month suspended sentence and disqualified him from driving for 10 months at Waverley Local Court.

But after realising she could not, under the law, sentence him to that, she later downgraded his punishment to a 24-month good behaviour bond.

She took into account his rehabilitation and a $10,000 fine and five-point plan already imposed by the Roosters.

Carney loses licence on police appeal

May 18, 2011 - 2:04PM

Rugby league star Todd Carney has lost his driver's licence for a year after police won an appeal in his drink driving case.

The NRL Sydney Roosters player pleaded guilty to a low-range drink-driving offence after he was pulled over for a random breath test in the eastern suburb of Coogee about 7am on February 26.

He was put on a good behaviour bond in April, after the court heard details of his alcoholism and "shocking" driving record.

Magistrate Jacqueline Milledge warned the 2010 Dally M medallist not to put another foot wrong and said he was within "a hair's breadth" of being sent to prison.

But police appealed the "lenient" decision in the Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday.

Judge Ron Solomon agreed and banned Carney from driving a car for a year after finding his driving record was "abysmal", News Limited has reported.

"(Carney) has in the past been dealt with by the courts in respect of two mid-range (drinking) offences," the judge is reported to have said.

"It appears there has been continuing disobedience by the offender in respect of his driving."

Carney, who gave evidence, admitted his driving record was disappointing and he was "remorseful" for his actions.

At the hearing in April, the court was told the 24-year-old was trying to turn his life around and had started a "positive lifestyle" program with The Salvation Army.

The court was told Carney "fell apart" when his father died, aged 57, after being diagnosed with dementia in 2006.

He was still on P-plates when he returned a blood alcohol level of 0.052 in March. P-plate drivers are not allowed to have any alcohol in their system while driving.

The court heard he had previous offences of drink-driving and dangerous driving and driving while disqualified.

Carney fighting to save career

August 9, 2011 - 7:03PM

Todd Carney will once again fight to save his NRL career when he fronts a Sydney Roosters disciplinary hearing into allegations of yet another alcohol-related indiscretion.

The Dally M medallist along with teammates Nate Myles and Frank-Paul Nuuausala will be asked to explain their actions on Wednesday morning after it was confirmed the trio had broken a team alcohol ban on Monday night.

‘‘The Sydney Roosters NRL playing squad made the commitment last week to avoid alcohol consumption for a two-week period,’’ the club said in a statement.

‘‘The club can confirm that the players were at two Eastern Suburbs establishments on Monday night.’’It was reported the club was notified of the escapade by a cab driver, who claimed he drove the players from one hotel to another about 2am (AEST) on Tuesday morning.

All three were named in the side to play St George Illawarra on Sunday, but it’s likely they will be stood down for the match as punishment.

That might not be the end of the matter for Carney, however, with the former Test representative believed to be on his last chance with the club after previous misdemeanours.

The club will certainly be under pressure from NRL chief executive David Gallop to take a firm stand after he was given personal assurances by Carney earlier this year that he would get his life back on track.

Gallop has already accepted Carney back into the NRL fraternity once after he was sacked by Canberra in 2008.

With no evidence of any anti-social conduct, Monday night’s breach would normally be viewed as a relatively minor affair - most likely resulting in a fine and short-term suspension.

But Carney has already been stood down once this year following a long drinking session with former teammate Anthony Watts in April.

While Watts has since been released without playing a game for the club, Carney was suspended with the Roosters declaring they would step up medical support for his alcohol-related issues.

At the time, Gallop said Carney’s blatant disregard for promises to stay away from alcohol showed how troubled the 25-year-old was.

‘‘To go to the (Kings) Cross, where he was bound to be seen, to me shows that he is very much a troubled person at the moment, and that makes me sad for him,’’ Gallop said in April.

On the surface, it appears little has changed, however, and his on-field performances are a shadow of the dizzying heights of 2010.

The Roosters refused to comment on what possible sanctions Carney was facing but, eventually, one last chance will prove to be just that.

There has always been a feeling that Carney’s obvious playing talents made the club more willing to put up with his indiscretions but, with his form on the wane and the Roosters battling to avoid the wooden spoon, this latest incident might finally prove the last straw.

That was the hard call made by Canberra three years ago, when Carney refused to accept a five-point rehabilitation plan.

He was sacked and banished to park football, with the NRL refusing to register another contract for him until 2010.
