At the risk of being redundant I would appreciate any suggestions from the members of this forum as to which books you would recommend to have if you wanted to raise and educate a child on your own.I am envisioning a total or at least partial collapse of human society as a whole and the necessity to insure that our children remain literate so that they can rebuild WHITE civilization.Discovery channel's progam History detectives had a segment on the great South Carolinian intellectual and secesstionest John C. Calhoun the other night and while I did not pay attention to everything being said(working at the time) Gibbons' "Decline and Fall Of The Roman Empire" was mentioned as being one of the books Mr. Calhoun was most influenced by.It also mentioned other books he recommened for study by young people but searching the Discovery website I could not find a transscript of that particular program.I would like to begin accumulating a library that would enable me to educate a child enabeling them to be not only a useful,productive member of WHITE society as well as honorable and decent.

National Vanguard has some good childrens books. I'd hate to give them business with the Greasy back in charge, but I don't know of anyone else that sells childrens books. it's worth a look.

For books the general idea would usually be to follow a "Great Books" program, which essentially means a "White Man's Books" program, from Homer up through Plato, Shakespeare, Dickens, etc.

Never feel embarrassed about inquiring into things of this nature. Our children face an overwhelming battle for their minds. We need to do everything we can to give them not only a proper frame of reference, but also a strong mind to resist the constant barrage of brainwashing done through the schools and the media.
