Ok here is a little rant coming on I can feel it, so here it is.

1st some credit where credit is due - Compliments to AL & admin for creating this little corner of the internet where folk of like mind can exchange news, views and ideas.
I have been here off and on for 3 years, I have grown and learned in that time, and this is a small part of that for me. This is not 1 of a dozen forums I post in, this is pretty much it. I have been banned from most teen forums, I have not tried many other race forums, and I am not on the internet too much anyhow, so the posting I do here is all that there is for me.

This is a good forum, is it perfect? No.
Will it ever be ? Of course not, but I think it is always good to keep an eye for how a good thing can become even better, and so I think suggestions are in order for admin to think about.

My #1 suggestion to improve the quality and effectiveness of this forum would be to control "disrupters".
Some call them trolls, others other things, but I think disrupters fit better.
These people, of which there have been a recent wave of in the past few months, mass 500 posts in no time, then 1,000 in the time it might take an average person a year or more, they do it in weeks.
How ? By busting into every idiot off topic thread there is to chatter, 10-20 posts a day is nothing for them, and barely a single one worth reading it.

Also a recent tactic started by Mazzone has been copied by others, and this is to post youtube links and stupid pics without comment, most of the time of just some stupid music video that is supposed to make some point they are thinking of ?
Not sure, but Mazzone became so annoying with his non stop video link posting that 1st his ability to do it was ended, then he was tarded.

One thing you will notice is almost always true with these disrupters is, though they have a high post count, they have very little, if any, threads they have started themselfs.
They have no intent of contributing a on topic thought or news item of interest, it is all about being social monkeys and rep whores with them.
You say "Well just ignore them then" and the problem is solved - Maybe for me, but not for the forum, which sees useful on topic posts and activism threads pushed to the bottom as these useless chatter threads from the useless chatters keep getting bumped up dozens of times a day.
I can well imagine the bad effect looking through some of these posts might have on a new viewer who is thinking of contributing, they will think this is just some dumb nut house full of tards, so ignoring does not take care of the problem.

True, everyone goes off topic now and then, with talk about a video game, family pet or a music topic. But these disrupters take it to a new level and I think actually forum sabotage may be more accurate than forum disruption as their goal - And most of them, some even admit, have been here before with other nyms.

What to do about it ?
The key is rep, they are all rep whores and their main reason in wanting 500 posts in weeks by posting useless crap and youtube links is so they can start repping.
So I would propose doubling the 500 to 1,000.
That would be much too easy for them, for that would only cost them a couple weeks, so I propose that, in addition to needing 1,000 posts to rep, that they also must have 50 or better yet 100 threads they started themselves.
This would stop them dead in their tracks, as there is no way they are going to start that many topics on their own in just weeks, unless they become news reposting bots - And if they try, by posting non stop garbage just to reach a 50 count, it should become obvious.
On the other hand, a serious poster who wished to contribute by sharing on topic news and views should have no problem building up the required number in good time, and therefore they have proved themselfs to be serious members
and should get the same forum priviledge as other serious posters.
In this way it will weed out the disrupters and encourage the serious racial activist, and make the forum a much better place for all - Except the idiots.

As for the people who make a habit out of posting annoying non stop youtube videos and nonsense pics, I wish a final solution could be found for them as well, as this is simple forum spam, perhaps posting a certain number within a certain amount of days will be cause for automatic tarding.
I doubt if I have posted 5 in 3 years, I grant sometimes they are useful and on topic, but an average of anything like 2 per day I would think shows a disruptive tactic.

My Holly, writing essays on your favorite topic, you're becoming quit the Heather Blue #2. Well, just joking at least it isn't religious. :P

Yes but at least its not in every thread.

True, everyone goes off topic now and then, with talk about a video game, family pet or a music topic..
Oh my quite an improvement I think.

So I would propose doubling the 500 to 1,000.
How about 5000?

That would be much too easy for them, for that would only cost them a couple weeks, so I propose that, in addition to needing 1,000 posts to rep, that they also must have 50 or better yet 100 threads they started themselves.
Some people don't really have much to post up thread-wise. I myself feel that way because I don't look at the news on a regular basis and thus do not have anything to post up. At any rate as noted in the next sentence people who want to get the ability to rep will just start posting up random news. As far as it goes this forum is only mildly controlled and thus trolls will simply do that and get away with it. As you said - people make sock puppets and freely admit it with nothing done to them for it. This forum simply is like that - a free for all, id rather more control was applied (but not in the stormfront sense) but at the same time I am content with the fact that if things get really bad something does get done.

On the other hand, a serious poster who wished to contribute by sharing on topic news and views should have no problem building up the required number in good time, and therefore they have proved themselfs to be serious members
and should get the same forum priviledge as other serious posters.
A bit tipsy today Holly?

In this way it will weed out the disrupters and encourage the serious racial activist, and make the forum a much better place for all - Except the idiots.

Like I said, it's not everyone's priority to post up topics and I have seen many posts today in the OV forum that I consider more worthy and information rich than most threads I read. I don't feel that threads are as significant as you make them, less threads but broader topics or more threads and more focused topics, it doesn't really matter that much. The main thing is good discussion, the amount of threads is irrelevant.

Like I said this forum is way too loose on rules to have anything close to that placed in.

Dear psychologicalshock, whatever your name may happen to be [Herman?]:

I thank you for your views.
I am not tipsy if you mean drunk, of course not.
Closest I came to drunk was Nyquil, some pretty good stuff.
I realize my views will not do much good, and if I really want all these rules well then I can start my own forum.
"Hollywood" ? No ,,, Um I will think about that as I drift to sleep tonight.

Very formal miss Holly. Albeit it's rather odd you guess my name as being Herman, its a strange name for someone Russian (Albeit I have known Russians with that name) I would have thought you'd guess me as Boris or something. :P

I thank you for your views.
Always willing to give them.

I am not tipsy if you mean drunk, of course not.
I was just pulling your leg over some odd spelling.

Closest I came to drunk was Nyquil, some pretty good stuff.
I don't drink either, I don't like the taste and I don't like what it does to people. Closest ive been was a minor buzz.

I realize my views will not do much good, and if I really want all these rules well then I can start my own forum.
Unfortunately that's how it is.

"Hollywood" ? No ,,, Um I will think about that as I drift to sleep tonight.
Heh, heh, that is a pretty catchy name, I think id visit on that basis alone.

Holly, if you are talking about the Retard Justin Boyer thread, I agree completely.

How about getting rid of rep altogether? That should end all the childish whining about green dots, red dots, and other nonsense. Or, if you want to keep it, do not ever show the accumulated rep under the avatar.

Holly, if you are talking about the Retard Justin Boyer thread, I agree completely.

I have not read that one lately, I think the subject there is certainly legit.

The most recent annoying thread which may have led me to post is this

"Attn: Anne's Arch Dioceses" by BryanVP http://www.vnnforum.com/showthread.php?t=88498
with the usual suspects doing their weird cyber dance that only they understand or care about.

I am glad to know that worse than useless post like this will no longer show in new posts
