Throat slashed in 'race' attack

WITH dried blood in his hair and 11 stitches across his throat Gold Coaster Jack Donnelly considers himself lucky.

The Surfers Paradise local was the victim of a 'racially motivated' attack on Saturday night while walking home from the Blues on Broadbeach festivities.

Mr Donnelly contacted the Gold Coast Bulletin yesterday hours after being rushed to Gold Coast Hospital for treatment.

Mr Donnelly, who has a prosthetic leg, noticed he was being said he was followed by a group of men who he described as of 'Asian appearance'.

"They came up and knocked me to the ground and started kicking me," he said.

"They were yelling 'piss off Aussie' and 'good on ya Skippy'.

"I managed to get back up and I thought I got away from them."

Mr Donnelly said the next thing he knew the group of about four or five, aged in their mid-20s, had approached him in a dark section of his street brandishing a broken bottle.

"They slashed my throat with the bottle and ran away once they saw how much blood was coming out," he said.

The 40-year-old managed to get home where he attempted to raise the alarm before passing out on a mattress in the lounge room, possibly as a result of the considerable blood loss.

When his sister Peta, who is also his housemate, woke at 6am to find her brother in a pool of his own blood, she immediately called an ambulance.

"I thought he was dead," she said.

"I started shaking and I didn't know who to call because there was so much blood.

"I kept pressure on the wound until the ambulance and police arrived with an intensive care paramedic because it was so serious.

"He was in and out of consciousness and saying 'they cut my throat'."

Mr Donnelly was treated for shock in the emergency ward of Gold Coast Hospital where he also received 11 stitches to the wound to his throat.

After giving him a thorough examination, doctors said the laceration across his throat was just millimetres from his jugular vein -- any closer and he wouldn't have survived.

What the fuck is it with these dirty little slopeheads? They're getting real bold all of a sudden.

Just the other week there was a White man here who was stabbed to death by a gang of gooks after he stepped in to stop them beating on someone else.

And I was at that festival two years ago, too. It was nearly all White, though the Whites there were completely useless, and absolute scum of the earth. You can go back and read my post about how there was a very pretty blonde skank getting nasty with a repulsive pygmy nigger in the middle of the nearly all White crowd, and not one of them batted an eyelid.

For those who don't know, Broadbeach is a very upmarket section of the gold coast, and the blues on Broadbeach festival attracts mostly Whites. So for them to be able to do this to a White cripple in such a high traffic area, tells you what utter cunts the Whites there are.

Learn a martial art . . . or die.

Brad, thanks for the background. I had never heard of the Gold Coast. I am not so familiar with Australian geography aside from the locations of some of the cities. I did once, however, own a very well made Outbacker antenna (amateur radio use) from Australia.

Look the Gold Coast up on the web. You may like what you see.
Picture a combination of Miami, Hawaii and southern California without the spics and niggers (or at least not as many).
City of 350,000 people with an economy that is based on tourism. Everything is built around the long beach strip.
Four theme parks, a big Warner Bros studio (billed as the Hollywood of the southern hemisphere), a casino and a list of big hotels.
It has a culture that is a bit different to the rest of Australia. Property development is a religion and just about every scam that surfaces in Australia seems to have its roots here on the Gold Coast.
It also has more restaurants per capita than anywhere else in the country and most of them are rather good. :D
Overall, it is the most interesting place in Australia to live . . . in my opinion.

I think that when a lot of us in the Kwa think of Australia, we think of Sydney and then the outer areas. I think my early impressions were formed when Mad Max came out. I thought the whole place was a desert until I got older and learned a little more.

Maori in rush to get welfare payments kills two white Gold Coast boys. A GOLD Coast motorist who was unlicensed and affected by a cocktail of drugs and alcohol when she struck and killed two teenage pedestrians told police her driving had been "brilliant", a court heard.
Tania Winifred Clark, 36, was sentenced to 10 years jail and disqualified from driving for life for the manslaughter of popular Southport High students Jye Strong and Nathan Sprecak, 16 and 15, in February last year.

The teenagers were mowed down on a footpath as they emerged from a corner store on Kumbari Avenue in Labrador.

Jye died instantly and Nathan died three days later in hospital.

The court heard the New Zealand-born woman drove 30 metres along the footpath in attempt to overtake a car on the single-lane road.

Prosecutor Angus Edwards said she had been rushing to make appointments with her parole officer and at centrelink and was worried she would lose her welfare benefits.

Clark was affected by alcohol, cannabis and at least six different prescription drugs at the time of the crash, the court was told.

She later blamed the boys for the tragedy, telling police they had stepped out onto the road in front of her.

Justice Glenn Martin told Clark she had been a “pharmacological nightmare” when she hit the two boys.

“You brought their lives to an end but on the day you blamed them,” he said.

“You say you’re sorry but your actions since then belie that.”

He sentenced her to 10 years jail and declared her a serious violent offender, which means she must serve at least 8 years before she is eligible for parole.

He disqualified her from obtaining or holding a drivers license for life.
