Western leaders face two fronts in their stand-off with Russia over its use of force to re-draw borders in Europe: one is the Russian army on the ground. The other is a propaganda war.

Russia has unleashed a propaganda barrage against an "aggressive" Nato alliance, drawing sharp ripostes from western leaders. President Dmitry Medvedev, who came to office with overtures to the West, now warns of a "crushing response" to any other country that threatens the lives or dignity of Russian nationals. He is "not afraid of a new Cold War", he adds.

edit: how in the hell did i make it into news of the world? sorry for the SG like post. id delete it, but id still like a brief description of the irony, and i still dont have the time to look at it myself. i just got 3 new spank videos and one of them has a black chick with a really big booty and im much more interested in how that turns out than the likely disappointment of this alleged irony that is at least somewhat hidden since you felt the need to specifically ask if others were able to see it.

I think OP is trying to point out that when Dmitri originally came into office, he was the one that offered to bring about peace and end the cold war, and now he is waiting to see how everyone reacts towards russia before he launchs the world into another cold war.
