TLDR:
17 year old was at a protest, things got out of hand and he tried to leave. Police attacked him and beat him. They then tried to charge him with anything they could make up at the spot, and released him later that night without giving him access to medical care or notifying his parents.

Damn, he got fucked up.

^Notice what the guy with the bandana says at 3:30 and look at what the police are doing to contain the protesters. One of the fundamental rules of riot control is to allow an exit route for the crowd, surrounding on all sides only provokes the rioters (think of cornering a wild animal, it has no choice but to fight back), puts innocent bystanders side by side with protesters and will ultimately end in death.
