Wow, so they invaded and took over a country, then dragged over, by force, millions of Africans to work for them so that they didn't have to. Sounds like reasonable justification for their descendants to remain living in a country that was never theirs to begin with, and bitch about black people doing the *exact* same thing, regardless of whether they are there by force or choice.

That's not at all what I meant. The Europeans who came came of their own accord, but were much the same taken over as "cargo", actually a better term would be workers, but whatever.

The black people were forced, and didn't get a patch of land and supplies in the end of their term(usually a few years, compared to life times for Africans), which the indentured servants did get.

you should have taken "Azure's" advice and picked up a book. If you had you might have noticed the difference in being a "SLAVE" and being an "INDENTURED SERVANT".

Indentured Servant:

Definition: A person who is bonded or contracted to work for another for a "specified time", in exchange for learning a trade or for travel expenses (as to America).

Slave:

Definition: 1. A person who is the property of and wholly subject to another. 2. A person entirely under the domination of some influence or person.


Do you see the difference? The "specified time" part for an "Indentured Servant".

The indentured servant got the chance to go off and live their lives as they say fit after their servitude, while slaves rarely if ever got the same chance, I.E they lived and died under the domination of others never knowing freedom.

So yes there "was" reason to blame whites for their ancestors being slaves. I will agree though that some still use this as an excuse for everything that goes wrong in their lives today, even though it doesn't have a thing to do with it.
