Well, on the plus side, at least we're SELLING them now, rather than just giving them away and getting nothing back for it.

77-million.

If I could just get 1 million of that I'd be set for life if I play my cards right.

If you think that's fucked up, then your jaw will hit the floor on this one:

Both Barack Obama and John McCain have declared the Israel-Palestinian issue "off the table." They will continue to support the destruction of the Gaza Strip and a 300 to 1 death ratio between Palestinian and Israeli citizens. They will continue to support a nation that has violated over 65 UN resolutions, that has over 400 nuclear warheads and that illegally occupies Palestinian territory.

FearPolitik at it's best.

Obama and Biden will make progress on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict a key diplomatic priority. They will make a sustained push – working with Israelis and Palestinians – to achieve the goal of two states, a Jewish state in Israel and a Palestinian state, living side by side in peace and security.

Well, the Israelis will no-doubt be buying the weapons with American tax dollars sent to them as "aid".

Ah, another misguided Obama supporter. Just because Barack isn't a Republican, doesn't mean he is liberal in his politics. Infact, a two state peace agreement is exactly the thing NADER/GONZALEZ '08 support, not Obama. Visit www.votenader.org to support real change.

Obama is, at best, vague and hypocritical in his view on the Israel-Palestine conflict. He comes out strong for Israel and then realizing that he may alienate his liberal base, issues a statement contradicting his original. For example, here Obama is talking about his support of the traditional Israeli position that Jerusalem must remain forever undivided under Israel rule:

Obama's orginal statement:
Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel, and it must remain undivided

and days later, his contradiction
obviously, it's going to be up to the parties to negotiate a range of these issues. And Jerusalem will be part of those negotiations."

If I may quote Joe Biden:

I am chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee. I give you my word as a Biden, I would not have given up that job to be Barack Obama's vice president if I didn't in my gut and in my heart and in my head know that Barack Obama is exactly where I am on Israel. And he is...I promise you ... we will make [Israel] more secure."

^ What about Palestine, Mr. Biden? Are they not being invaded? Are they not being killed? Surely a country (Israel) receiving nearly 5 Billion dollars in funding from the U.S. can "secure" itself.

#2. Lol @ your naivete. Leaders are SELECTED, not elected. Obama is 10th and 11th cousin to both George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. Plus having a black man in office looks egalitarian and will make the herd of morons that JUST woke up to how fucked this country is a bit more docile.

I think it's funny how you bring up the fact the Israel has violated UN resolutions. You know why they had to do that? Because that's the only way they can survive. The Muslim countries don't follow UN sanctions either, you know. How is Israel supposed to defend itself when the UN clearly won't let them retaliate against attacks on their sovereign territory? The UN clearly supports terrorism and they clearly hate Israel. Believe me, if the UN or the US doesn't step in and clean up this mess, Israel will. And they will do it nuclear style.

And since when is Israel occupying Palestinian territory. What claim do they have to it? And let's not forget that Israel has given up some of it's land to try and appease Palestine but it didn't help. They want more. They're greedy.

How can you be "free" when you're a slave to AIPAC? Why is it safer for Israelies to criticize Israel's policies than for people in the West? Over here dissing Israel is very much frowned upon.

For you: is there anything to criticize about Israel?

Resolution 515: "...‘demands’ that Israel lift its siege of Beirut and allow food supplies to be brought in"

Resolution 672: "...‘condemns’ Israel for violence against Palestinians at the Haram al-Sharif/Temple Mount

Resolution 592: "...‘strongly deplores’ the killing of Palestinian students at Bir Zeit University by Israeli troops"

Resolution 452: "...‘calls’ on Israel to cease building settlements in occupied territories"

Resolution 262: "...‘condemns’ Israel for attack on Beirut airport"

Resolution 573: "...‘condemns’ Israel ‘vigorously’ for bombing Tunisia in attack on PLO headquarters

These are some amony the 65 UN resolutions that are being targeted at Isreal. Not to mention all the time they cut food and basic supplies to all the Palestinian settlements. You call all this retaliation? I call this over-kill. They obliterated Lebanon a couple years ago, when Hezbollah started throwing some rockets over. What did this demolition of Beruit accomplish? NOTHING, except stronger support for Hezbollah. It didn't take a genius to see that comming. You are trying to say that the UN supports terrorism, and hates Isreal? What proof do you have behind this, besides them condeming Isreal for things that are obviously wrong. You say what rights did the Palestinians have to the land? Less then 65 years ago, Isreal did not exist. 100 years ago, there was only a 5-10 percent Jewish population in Palestine. As for your last comment on Isreal 'giving up some of it's land', 0 Israeli homes have been demolished by Palestinians and 18,147 Palestinian homes have been demolished by Israel.

In conclusion, get your head out of your ass, and quit being a biased, hypocritical, dickhead.

I never said that any of the propositions you pointed out are not true, I'm sure they are. I just think you live in a fairy tale land if you think the UN is unbiased against Israel. The UN passes these propositions to keep Israel from defending itself but does nothing to spot the terrorism that is relentlessly being unleashed against Israel. The amount of antisemitism in this world staggers me. Israel is unfairly treated by the UN and the rest of the world. It will defend itself regardless of what the UN says.
