Even the sun appears headed for a recession.
The Ulysses space probe has detected fewer sunspots, decreased solar winds, and a weakening magnetic field—the lowest solar activity observed in 50 years, NASA scientists said yesterday.

If the sun is powering down like a pc monitor in power saving mode, then I wonder if this is like a natural cycle and one that could eventually lead to another ice age. This is all hypothetical of course.
We must assemble all our fissionable materials into two gigantic bombs and send them into the sun. We need 2 because the first mission will inevitably fail when the crew goes insane and fries themselves, except for one who hangs around to sabotage the second mission, which is why the second mission should be led by Cillian Murphy.
Oh, wait.

Probably just a natural cycle......mother nature has a way of making sure here little creations stay alive....the sun will make the earth cooler, thus saving us from this global warming bs. Eventually it'll just turn into a red giant and we'll all die :)
Owell, if all of humanity is dead, the world would be a better place.

How come retards take the warming in global warming LITERALLY? Global warming will eventually, assuming it exists, turn this shit into PLUTO.

I must admit. I watched it the same night I had just watched Armageddon (dvd), so it just seemed to me like it was based on the same idea. It was in all honesty though: boring!

There would be no people left to see the Earth! The beauty of this planet resides in our hearts and minds! Without people this planet would be a horrific violent place!
