The aim of Media Ops (Ways) is to provide information to a number of
audiences (Ends) via the media (Means) in support of the aims of the UK Info
Strategy. Successful Media Ops convey accurate and timely information as well as the
right message to the right audiences. It must be appreciated that audiences are not
homogenous and their opinions will vary depending on the nature of their location,
political preferences, culture, and ethnicity as well as on the operation.
