What are eMethods? eMethods is short for electronic methods – a quick and easy
way to obtain packaged application solutions from Agilent or to share your
own personal applications. It’s a process that can greatly improve your
laboratory’s productivity! eMethod enables you to:
Agilent’s eMethod process
allows you to package any 5973 series MSD method and export it to a new
Agilent 5975 series MSD, thus enabling you to bring a new GC/MS instrument online
in the shortest possible time!
Whether you have multiple GC/MS
systems in the same laboratory or across the world, Agilent eMethod process
makes sharing and standardizing methodologies across your organization as easy
as emailing an attachment, and analytical separation
can be easily duplicated on multiple systems thus maximizing the productivity
of each GC/MS!
No more manual entering of method
parameters! Agilent’s integrated eMethod process allows you to download
any new Agilent eMethod application solution from the Agilent web site and
import that method to your Agilent 5975 series MSD or 5973 series MSD and
receive the entire method without any manual editing errors. Only
Agilent can enable the direct transfer of instrument parameters from an
existing 5973 series MSD to the new 5975 series MSD. To export an existing
5973 series MSD method you must have MSD ChemStation software version
[D.02.00] or higher, which is capable of controlling all versions of the 5973
and 5975 series MSDs. In the near future, Agilent will
provide free downloadable eMethods for a variety of applications for the
environmental, food safety, pharmaceutical, and forensic/drug testing
markets. For up-to-date information on eMethods, please visit Agilent's web
site at http://www.chem.agilent.com |
