clear a telecommunications carrier's duty to cooperate
in the interception of communications for law
enforcement purposes, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of
Representatives of the United States of America in
Congress assembled,
TITLE I--INTERCEPTION OF DIGITAL AND OTHER COMMUNICATIONS
SEC. 101. SHORT TITLE.
This title may be cited as the `Communications
Assistance for Law Enforcement Act'.
